1.At 0720 today (8th), the Northern Branch reported: At 0650, the Second Patrol Area received a report from the captain of the fishing vessel "Yicaifa": The fishing vessel "Mancaifa 6 (CT3-5020)" (1 vessel and 4 ingots, departed from Shen'ao Fishing Port at 0847 on September 7, gross tonnage 49.85) caught fire 16 nautical miles north-northwest of Pengjia Islet. The 5 people on board have been rescued by the friendly vessel "Xinjifa 2" and all are safe. The Keelung Coast Guard 10090 vessel has been dispatched to assist in the handling (ETA: 11:00).
2.Please keep a watchful eye on the surrounding vessels and keep a safe distance to ensure safe navigation.
