About to enter the Changhua Wind Farm Channel, Please comply with the traffic separation scheme (TSS) adopted for the Changhua Wind Farm Channel. Follow the sailing direction,report to Changhua VTS, and update the nautical chart (including ENC) as soon as possible.Vessels violating the guidance of the Sailing Direction shall receive PSC/FSC inspection.

The main purpose of the Sailing Direction is to establish the sailing order of vessels in the Changhua Wind Farm Channel in order to maintain and improve navigation safety and efficiency. Vessels using the Changhua offshore navigation areas are strongly advised to place this Sailing Direction on the bridge as reference for navigation and routes planning.

The TSS took effect on October 26, 2021. When a vessel violates the TSS, a fine of between NT$100,000 and NT$500,000 shall be imposed on the owner, charterer, master, his/her deputy in his/her absence, yacht skipper, boat skipper, or his/her deputy in his/her absence in accordance with “Aids to Navigation Act”.
