Built in 1939, located on top of Hua Yu shan, Penghu County, a concrete round tower, painted white, and a
westernmost lighthouse in Taiwan vicinity. Hua Yu is the westernmost islet of Penghu islands; the highest
point is 53 meters, which is the location of this station and a major landmark in that area. Once it was lack of
acetylene and became deactivated during World War II, this saved the station from bombing.
