Established in 1983 at Wang-Gong Fishing Harbor, Changhua County, Fong-Yuan Lighthouse is an octagonal tower with vertical black and white stripes. Due to land subsidence, it is the only lighthouse in Taiwan where the tower height exceeds its focal height, enhancing safety for coastal and Taiwan Strait vessels. In the past, this site presented one of eight major scenic views in Changhua — the Fishing boat lights of Wanggong.
