Tungchu Tao lighthouse was built in 1872, located on northeast point of Tungchu Tao, and a round granite tower designed by the British. The ratio of the top and the body is 2:3; the body is cylindrical shape with Chinese arc door as the entrance and square window. The gallery has decorative corners with lime mortar. The lighthouse became a national heritage building.
