Wenkan Tui Lighthouse was built in 1914 on a shifting sandbank in Kouhu Township, Yunlin County. Due to the unstable foundation, it has been rebuilt more than any other lighthouse in Taiwan. After Typhoon Soudelor in 2015 caused its collapse, a new structure was installed on a nearby sandbank in 2023, maintaining its original 11-nautical-mile light range.
