● Participates in and analyzes international organizational affairs.

● Collects and analyzes trends and developments in international conventions.

● Researches and analyzes international maritime cooperation and supports domestic maritime operators in engaging in such cooperation.

● Plans, drafts, and promotes international maritime trade agreements.

Legal Affairs Division

● Proposes revisions and interpretations of maritime and port regulations.

● Reviews legislative procedures related to maritime and port laws.

● Organizes, applies, and manages legal materials and related legal affairs.

Research and Development Division

● Plans and analyzes maritime development strategies.

● Reviews and proposes policies for maritime and port development.

● Handles other integrated maritime planning matters, including the MTNet system as well as maritime and port development databases.
