Through participation in meetings of intergovernmental and non-governmental international organizations, proactive engagement in maritime-related cooperation, and the simultaneous implementation of various regulatory measures, efforts are made to ensure maritime safety, gain international recognition, enhance global integration, and ultimately achieve the goal of joining international organizations.

l 2021.6.30- Hosted the 110th Maritime Special Topic Conference (topic: post-pandemic recovery in the cruise industry) virtually. The event brought together international organizations and APEC maritime experts from 16 economies, with over 100 participants, to share and exchange insights on the current state of the cruise industry amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

l 2013.10.2- Arranged by the Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a senior EU civil servant delegation led by Michel Soula, NATO's Deputy Assistant Secretary-General and Director of Operations, visited the Ministry of Transportation and the bureau to discuss maritime security topics, including anti-piracy cooperation.
